Adam & Eve is a mixed-media triptych by Zura that transforms a vintage metal wall divider into a unique work of functional art. The three canvas panels are integrated into the original divider structure, creating one continuous composition.
The first panel depicts Adam, the central panel presents the tree with the apple and the third panel depicts Eve. Together, the three scenes form a contemporary interpretation of the timeless Adam and Eve story, expressed through Zura’s raw, primitive and highly expressive visual language.
The combination of painted canvas and the aged metal structure creates a distinctive dialogue between painting, found object, sculpture and functional design. The work can be displayed as a triptych wall artwork, sculptural art object, or functional room divider, making it a distinctive addition to a curated interior.
